It's been about two months since we sent out our last newsletter due to trade shows, computer blowups, and a small tear in the space/time continuum. Below is a list of some of the events that are taking place this month and next.

Blues Festival!!

This Friday and Saturday, September 10th and 11th we will have a booth at The Greater Ozarks 14th Annual Blues Festival.  It will be held at Chesterfield Village this year and will feature some great musical groups including a couple of Just For Him's favorites such as Black Suede and Nigel and the Ghost.  For more information check out the official website at www.greaterozarksbluesfest.com.

Live Radio Broadcast!!

This Sunday, September 12th, Matt Canovi will be doing a live broadcast of "The Gun Show" from Just For Him.  The show airs every Sunday from 3-5PM on KSGF 104.1FM where Matt discusses with his listeners all topics related to Firearms, ammunition, tactical accessories, Training, Concealed Carry, and attacks on the 2nd Amendment.

Cigar Tasting!!

Thursday, September 16th starting at 6:00PM Just For Him will be introducing a new cigar line at Bruno's Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar.  The cost will be $10 and will include a cigar and hor d'oeuvres.  There will be music by Charlie McDonald.  Charlie is a great piano player who spent many years playing in New Orleans before moving to the Springfield area after Katrina.  This is an event you don't want to miss.

Pipe Smoking Contest!!

The annual Just For Him Pipe Smoking Contest is just around the corner!  Be at the shop on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00am to compete in the contest and if you entered the Meerscham Coloring Contest earlier this year bring in your pipe to be judged.  The entry fee for the pipe smoking contest is $10 which goes to the Regional Girls Shelter here in Springfield.

Davidoff Dinner!!

October 16th is the date of the next Davidoff Dinner.  It will be held at Touch Restuarant and more details will follow in the next week or so.
