The 2010 Pipe Smoking Contest will be held on Saturday, October 2nd. For those of you not familiar with our contest... each contestant is given 1/8 ounce of cube cut burley, 2 matches and 1 minute to light their pipe. No relights are allowed and the matches are collected at the end of the 1 minute lighting period. The winner is the person who is able to smoke the longest. At the end of the contest prizes are chosen by each contestant in the order of their placement. For those that entered the Meerschaum Coloring Contest earlier in the year you must bring your pipe in to be judged. Judging will take place during the pipe smoking contest.
