Brick House Cigar Tasting and Chili Cookoff

Just For Him hosted a cigar tasting for the release of the Brick House cigar by J.C. Newman on October 29th, 2009 from 5-7PM. This cigar is a revival of one of J.C. Newman's earliest brands and is a beautifully made Nicaraguan puro. It starts out earthy and crisp, yet has a distinct flavor like no other cigar. As you experience the cool, even burn of this handmade cigar it builds into a well-rounded, smooth taste with hints of oak and maple syrup.

This was also our annual fall chili cookoff night! Everyone was encouraged to make a big ol' pot-o-chili and let everyone have a taste. The judging was completely unofficial and based purely on the votes of the chili eaters. Participants got a cigar and a kick in the pants.
